Jaime’s practice covers various areas of litigation and health care law, focusing on medical malpractice defense. Jaime has a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Kansas School of Medicine as well as experience working at a small transactional health care firm focused on areas of compliance and the myriad important and complex regulatory issues facing health care providers today such as the HIPAA Privacy and Security rules, Medicare Fraud and Abuse, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rules and regulations, and EMTALA. This experience and knowledge, combined with her law degree, allow Jaime to comfortably navigate issues within both the practice of medicine as well as health care administration. Jaime prides herself on her being thorough and working efficiently and proactively to achieve the best outcome for all of her clients. Jaime is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri.
