Lisa represents medical professionals, health care organizations, business owners, and individuals who need an attorney to competently and efficiently represent their interests in litigation. Lisa also serves as a mediator for individuals, families, and business owners who are seeking to resolve conflict in probate and trust matters, employment and contract disputes, and other matters where the parties prefer to resolve conflict prior to trial. Lisa considers herself a problem solver, first and foremost, and keeps her clients informed and educated about their cases and helps them generate options to achieve the best results for their personal and professional lives.
Lisa is licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and the U.S. District Courts of Kansas and Eastern and Western Missouri. She is also a Kansas Supreme Court Approved Mediator.
Lisa’s volunteer work includes Vice Chair of the Roeland Park, Kansas Planning Commission, where she helps develop plans to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors to the Roeland Park community. Lisa also served as Chairperson for the Roeland Park Ad Hoc Police Policy Review Committee where she worked with residents, police officers, policy content writers, and social justice professionals for the purpose of evaluating and revising the city’s police policy manual. Lisa has been honored by the ACLU as Advocate of the Year and as Outstanding Alumna of the Year at the UMKC LGBTQIA Lavender Graduation & Awards. Lisa is also a member of the KCMBA’s Communications Advisory Committee.
