Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Wes Smith has been a Partner at SLLN since 2021. For more than a decade, Mr. Smith’s practice has focused on civil litigation both at the trial and appellate levels in areas of medical malpractice, wrongful death, employment law, and insurance defense. Mr. Smith joined Simpson, Logback, Lynch, Norris, P.A, after serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division of the Office of the Kansas Attorney General, where he successfully litigated civil cases at both the trial and appellate levels for a number of governmental employees and entities. A graduate of Washburn University School of Law and the University of Kansas, Mr. Smith is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri state and federal courts, the Courts of Appeals for the 8th and 10th Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
